I am the proud founder and creator of Pachis. I am the mother of the two most wonderful little girls. I am a loving wife. And I love working with art and children.
I have a degree in Visual Arts with an emphasis on Film and Video from the University of California, San Diego. I started working with children when I was 16. I have lead roles such as camp counselor, after school site supervisor, and a film and drawing instructor. My work experience includes the San Diego YMCA, San Diego Women's Film Foundation, Girl Scouts and Monarch School.
I love spending time with my family, being a mom, traveling and dancing!
Art has been a passion of mine ever since I was old enough to hold a crayon.
I recently graduated from San Diego City College with a degree in Graphic Design, and am planning to further my education to become an art teacher.
I have worked at many art summer camps, and have worked with kids since 2005.
If I’m not drawing, I am probably hiking with friends, reading, or trying out new recipes.
Traveling is another love of mine, I’ve seen the statue of David in Italy, The National Portrait Gallery in London, and I’ve even been to Monet’s garden in France.
I am a lead art teacher here at Pachis. Whether it’s teaching art, glass blowing or yoga; I am very passionate about introducing people to new experiences and ways of self expression.
I studied at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in Ohio, where I received my BFA; concentrating in Art Education, as well as Glass Blowing.
I am very passionate about teaching art as well as working with children. In my spare time, I enjoy creating my own work, exploring nature, and traveling!
